Our Story
Mount Hope was established in 1998 on 17 hectares of land in West Kalimantan, to educate and raise the standard of living of the Dayak people. The 3 million Dayak people living in central Borneo lived a traditional life, largely cutoff from outside influences with a significant amount of poverty.
Fast forward through many years of incredible work and committment from many people Mount Hope is now a beacon of hope and light throughout Western Kalimantan

While overseeing Taumangu Bible School for many years Sam saw a great need to help the Dayak people in West Kalimantan. The vision took hold. More about the Soukota story HERE
